  • Thank you both for your help. After looking into both, I think I have aphids. I will try the pepper spray. The plant seems to be doing well despite the bugs. Thanks you again for your input!

  • Very nice !

  • Aphids, the ants are farming them!

  • You've done very well. I used lady bugs and soapy water with apple cider vinegar. Worked like a charm. To get rid of the ants I located their hole or hill and put some ant powder on it.

  • the ants are a good sign of aphids.

they will actually grab the aphids and move them around like cattle into large groups.

the ants than tickle the aphids butts with their feelers. this causes the aphids to excrete a nectar that the ants love to drink. you can spray the underside of the leaves with a garlic pepper soap spray .. pull up .recipes on google

  • most likely the things on the bottom of the leaf is spidermites and a good way of taking care of those is neem oil, but I would recommend either taking a leaf or a picture of the leaf to your local garden shop and see what they suggest.
