  • oh no- he talked too much all the way through, not just when the chairs were being set out.

If you love Keith Airey I can only offer my deepest sympathies for your advanced blindness and deafness. Sorry that was facetious. I guess he'd be okay in some sort of stuck in the eighties prog band, but The Zombies? It's musically offensive!

  • I'd like to see Colin playing the guitar.

  • Great shows, they were filmed so one day we will get the whole thing...The first half was a shame, with such an amazing back catalogue of Songs, it was sad to have to endure post Zombies mulch like hold yr head up,etc...The original band for the whole set would have been nice , a missed opportunity

to give an airing to Walking in the sun, a love that never was and a host of material never performed live, that would of been much more complimentary to the second half than the stuff we endured.

  • joemgeek, rod argent had to talk because the chairs had to be set out and the string quarter was still getting their sheets ready. i just wish he did the same thing on friday. the crowd near the bar was way too noisy and rude; they were talking so loud even though colin was singing "misty roses" already. anyway, the good thing was midway through the song, everyone was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. that's the beauty and power of colin's hypnotic voice.

    btw, i looooove keith airey.

  • These shows were absolutely great, BUT Rod Argent is way too talkative!

I could have done without the Argent tracks (especially after the beauty of Col+ strings!), and the AWFUL, tasteless guitar widdling of the disgusting Keith Airey. He seems like the kinda guy who doesn't mind what sort of music he plays, as long as he can get the odd screaming solo with some harmonic squeals in there!

Solo Blunstone tracks, Odessey + The Zombies tracks with Chris and Hugh, were perfection though.
