  • @airwolfman Another good point! Do we watch animation for the story, or the animation, or both? I prefer a good story if I had to choose. I watch Anime every now and then and if the animation is great but the story is dull, I just can't force myself to watch it. Capitan Planet was, and still is, great. Amazing animation quality with a satisfying story to boot.

  • @3Z3K13L08 Yes, but there are far too many stories getting chopped on detail because most of the time they don't go beyond three layers of digital color :D. Many animations are pretty "lazy" in style.

  • @airwolfman You bring up one good point "_Traditional animation_, as it should always be". Modern animation is far more efficient and is don't that way because we can. Just because you _can_ paint every cell, don't mean in any way you _should_. It was only done like this because there was no better way at the time. I agree it was an amazing undertaking just to release a single episode but I can't agree that the technique should be used nowadays.

  • Traditional animation, as it should always be ^^. Keeps blasting my mind on how all this was done. I mean, the trillions of cel pages. @_@
