This is the gravy that I usually serve on biscuits, for the ultimate in comfort food, especially at breakfasts. Visit us at www.everydaydish.tv to get the recipe.

  • Julie, I have to say I love the book-I purchased the Kindle version, and I am telling everyone I know about it! I have been watching your videos for over a year, and when I heard your book came out I was so stoked!

  • @ledwards8510 Thank you! I am so thrilled that you love the book!

  • thanks for the recipe but it doesn't seem to have any sage in it as the title suggests.

  • @CaptainPUNisher Thanks for pointing this out! This is fixed now, as this is a 2 Pepper Gravy and not the sage gravy recipe. Thanks!

  • @hmmmmm1988 Yes, you can find certified gluten-free oats.

  • @Soyaboenne Woahhh, oats aren't gluten free.

  • we should probably stop kidding ourselves and just get married

  • Holy Cow!!! That looks so darn good! Can't wait to try it.

  • Love the ear-rings, Julie. :)

Vegan Diner: my favourite recipe book ever (and I have Vegan with a Vengeance, and The Veganomicon).

You are the master (mistress?) of seitan. The pastrami is unbelievable.

  • Nice! My recipe is very similar, though I use the traditional oil/flour roux method. Your method allows for cutting down on the fat :)

  • @valen0011 How many people would actually watch a veg*n cooking show? Something like 10% of the population is vegetarian; around 2% of the population is vegan. Tell omnivores that something is veg*n, and many would turn their noses up at it. It's much more feasible to broadcast omnivore recipes that include some vegetarian options, something they already do. Anyway, why ruin good content with commercials?

  • Looks delicious! I'm dying to get Vegan Diner!
