well this must be a south thing cause up in upstate ny area ive never seen a black man on a crotch rocket. i havnt seen many blacks on any bikes at all. i went to the real bike week in myrtle beach. the bar owners and residents dont like "black bike week" they tried to close a couple bars during that time. and the naacp sued the bar owners saying they were racist. they just didnt want there clubs getting ruined during that week the residents there hate it. thats what they told me

FYI there is Harley Bike Week(mostly harleys, cruisers) & then follows Bikefest aka Black Bike Week(mostly sports bikes, crotch rockets)It's not intentionally race divided. Majority white bikers ride cruisers & majority black bikers ride sports bikes. That's just the way it turned out. Harley Bike week is NOT called white bike week & no KKK bullshit. EVERYONE is welcomed. If MB has it's way, there won't be any rallies next year. Us locals will continue to attend meetings & fight 4 the rallies.

Thanks for that positive comment. So many people make race a big issue when it's not, it's just about people coming together to have a good time. Hopefully with all the effort you and the other locals are doing we will continue to enjoy both bike rallies for many more years.
