Someone recently pointed me to Ranciere, who I hadn't read before, and I was very taken by his ambition to construct what he called a 'poetics of knowledge'. I may be misinterpreting him completely, but my take on that ambition is a way of looking at different forms of knowledge in the recognition that our ways of looking are created and constrained by the facts of our embodiment.
Really enjoyed this. the thoughts emerging from the darkness - very poetic. Redefining the objective is a great aim. I've just started the Master and Emissary and I think there are relevances and resonances there. Other forms of cognition - the poetic before the rational as logical. thanks

Thanks for the response, and to the other videos. Would you mind citing your sources of information? I am curious about the body of knowledge you are drawing from and would like to know more.

If I may correct myself, the living question of the physical realm manifests as analogical reasoning. It's making comparisons all the time "How am I, how is this, how is that?" The unspoken question the emotional realm is answering is Who am I With? and therefore manifests as analytical reason which discovers what things are composed of and how things function, it's how we relate. And the mental realm informs us What to Do through empathy with a person or situation.

Data (mental realm) required for sustainability of survival requires metaphor (emotional realm) which can only emerge from our ability to empathize experientially (physical realm).
