HAIRBAND FISTFIGHT

Round XXV of the brand new "hit game show" filmed on the road with The Velmas.

Round XXV features Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) vs. Les Claypool (Primus)!

(And yes, not every musician doing battle is necessarily from a "hair band". We know that, and we're okay with that.)

Who will the judges choose? Find out!

*************

Do you agree or disagree with the "judges"?

Is there a Fistfight you'd like to see?

  • What is the #1 a bass player is supposed to do?

Groove. and Flea is the master at grooving

claypool is a master at everything else

  • Claypool all my life, Flea sucks

  • shit, too hard of a decision, id say les gets the vote because he sings and slaps like a motherfucker at the same time

  • Utter bullshit. Les Claypool is god. He had 0 bass lessons. He can play every type of bass in every kind of way, is more professional and clever, more original, and most importantly, his band didn't fizz out into horrid mainstream crap.

  • @JayT851

okay, and any respectable bassist will list les claypool as an influence...

  • @TopTenCrew It doesnt matter or not the chili peppers earned their success. Theres not many people that dont have respect for them

  • @JayT851

Primus isn't mainstream....at all, it's opposite of the generic shit that RHCP puts out...

  • @TopTenCrew Red hot chili peppers would close a show in a minute for Primus. Chili peppers do have songs that people can relate to so what? RHCP is a self made band. Primus is a mainstream band too they are in the top 100 best bands of the 90's But they only had a few great albums and a lot of their songs start off good then go downhill. Now you campare Nirvana to alice in chains yeah nirvana is more popular but Alice in Chains is a WAY better band. Its not the case here

  • @JayT851

Not really, they're mainstream because they play music that people can relate with, generic rock. Primus is a genre all to itself. Primus is about 3x as good as the chili peppers.

  • @TopTenCrew They are Mainstream because they are good and they stand out. They earn their sales and deserve the credit they get. Primus isnt half as good as the chili peppers. I dont think Primus deserves to be in the rock hall of fame.
