FREEAIR RC SU-27 from robot birds and a crazy hand launch

not me flying and not my vid it is by Philip Thulin i have the same plane by freeair got it from robot birds in the uk £32 very nice flyer slow or fast mine has a tp2408-21t 1400kv on a 7x4 prop or my other set up is a emax cf2812 1500kv on a cut down 7x6 to 6x6 on a 3s 1300 lipo AUW is between 380g-394g and i love the way he launches his plane not tried it yet but one day

Terrific launch, saw this vid ages ago but it took me months to find it again. Please rename it without using capital letters. Could you tell me the motor, prop, battery you used please. Hooked on flying a wing at the moment. Searching for this plane, hopefully find someone that sells it.

@rudessu robotbirds in the uk sell em, but dont know how much shiping is tho. my set up is in the description and i think the guy flying the plane, phillip thullen, was using the setup listed in the manual a 80watt brushless dont know the kv.

flew well on the tp2408 and the 2812 and a 1300 3s.

Thanks for sharing my video, its me flying and I was the owner of the plane. some sequences of the film are piloted by Torpis, a close friend of mine.

This perticular plane "is no more" so to speek, but I´d love to have another one some day, no plane has given me greater joy with flying then this one. a litle bit tricky befor you get used to it, but a blast at calm weather. The launch is a great party trick at the local fly-ins, a lot of "woooaaah" buzzing through the crowd ;)

@thullen84 thanks Phillip glad you dont mind that i put it up,it was this vid that made me choose this plane it needs a new motor at the min and will go for light set up next time maybe a blue wonder and a 1000mah 3s, and if i was half as good as you as at flying id be a happy man, ive yet to get up the balls to try the launch one day tho one day lol

@mahoganybasswood its a blast flying rc i love it ,pretty easy to pick up and cheap now with all the stuff from china

ive been flying a year and with the right plane its fairly simple this was my second plane and could do most of the stuff in the vid although not as smooth as this guy after a month or 2 ive got a thing for flying wings at the min and they are fast
