Regardless of whether or not the goal of this video is to make people think all Americans are stupid, the issue is that a lot of people see videos like this and reach that conclusion. We could do this in every country in the world and get the same results.

The USA is not stupid. People are stupid. Not everyone in the US is like that.
They probably went to the south, sifted to get all the wrong-answer clips, and constructed this video to make it seem as if everyone is very unintelligent. Nice...

I'll admit that I didn't know all the answers, but I think that my 90% is better than most of these boneheads.

Even though the probably edited it for comedic value i'm still ashamed that an 18 year old who hasn't completed highschool yet [me] could have answered every one of those questions right and identifed Iran, South Korea and FRANCE. Very ashamed for my countrymen right now.

You'd think that it would be obvious that this video was edited to only show the stupid answers. You could go to any country... ANY country and make a video like this if you edit it to only show the stupid answers.
And if everyone in America was pants-on-head retarded, how could we possibly "run" the world? How could we have the richest people in the world? How could we have the best technology in the world?
300 million people in the US... we can't all be that stupid.

Actually I take that back, they take the piss out of Americans a lot, lol. I guess there is just so much comedy potential with them :P hehe
Part of the problem is 'if you take yourself too seriously, people will always laugh at you' ;)

Hehe, I like the fact that this vid is getting a level of discussion. Of course it was edited for the purposes of humour. These guys don't focus on American bashing. It was just a one off comedy clip for our enjoyment here in Australia. Run on our government sponsored TV station (The ABC). I.e. our taxes pay for it. They have a joke about everyone. Only once have they poked fun at the US ;)

This is not meant to be an American bashing exercise. It is only meant to be a bit of fun. We all like to laugh at ourselves including Aussies. And like in this video, Australia has exactly the same sort of ignorance and naivity as displayed in this clip. It is the same for each and every country of this planet. World travelling Aussies love every country and culture including the US. If we were to judge Americans and ourselves simply by our uneducated masses we would appear just as dumb too ;)

I find it very amusing that American people feel its ok to ridicule and condescend all other people of different countries and cultures. Including their own American citizens that may have immigrated to the US even generations earlier.
But when someone outside of the US looks at them in the same condescending way. They suddenly become extremely over sensitive, lol. e.g. Anti-Americanism,hehehe.
Next they will be likening 911 to the Holocaust,lol. I mean its like dealing with spoilt children.
