I think its better that this was filmed in a grave yard filled with people who died fighting evil as opposed to a newer one filled with wasted lives a.k.a any army grave yard older than 1945. Since ww2 every war the west has fought was pointless, stupid and a waste of life

i love your work Tom... i love this song... but i am rather upset that you decided to film this in a Canadian War Cemetary. These were young men who died smashing facism in Europe and in the Pacific.... Not men duped into wars of aggression, or over natural resources... YES... war is an awful. As an ex-soldier, and grandson of ww2 vets, and Spanish Civil War vets, maybe you should think about the glorious sacrifices these young people made... rather then making their resting places your stage

@alastairppcli Not sure how this is relevant to the topic of the song. It's referring to the bush administration (which tom, and pretty much EVERYONE) was against, and how the Iraq invasion was prophesized to be "100 years of war." Follow the lyrics and it makes a helluva lot more've sense. Tom has no ill will towards military personel: hell, his dad was a soldier.
