This is just a test clip for a longer piece that I am working on and the original videography for this specific clip was shot by Nicholas Lue, NYS Museum. The Adirondack Exhibit at the NYS Museum (Albany, NY) has more video footage regarding acid rain impacts. This specific clip was shot during Autumn 2008 at Brooktrout Lake in the West Canada Lakes Wilderness of the NY's Adirondack Park. Brooktrout Lake is one of the few formerly acidified waters in the Park that have recovered enough chemically to allow stocking with brook trout. The video was shot with a Canon HF100, as access to Brooktrout Lake is either by helicopter or a very lengthy and strenuous hike, either of which option, limits the types and amount of equipment that can be used.
