I was intent on pressing thumbs down on this video because you didn't take a slice out so we could see the end result with its different layers on show. But I thought I'd better be positive and make a complaint-suggestion and not click anything. Next time, please do take out a slice so we can view how it looks on a plate. Thanks.

I think the troubles with your meringue is that you took them to stiff peaks, whereas soft would allow for easier spreading and still achieve the same result.
