I played this piece in a competition in March 2008. The recording itself was made in a preparation concert in my music school a week before the competition. Ágnes Arató is accompanying me on the piano.

  • So how did you do on your competition?

  • Well, I got a second place, which doesn't mean I was actually second. There were about 30 people who got first place and another 30 who got second. This was a national competition for students in the higher years of "music primary school" playing any instrument. Basically these are students who have been learning their instruments for quite a few years but either they don't want to have it as their profession (that's me) or they are about to go to the next level of music school.

  • You should have won! Fantastic!

  • Good played.. ^^

    I very love this piece

  • Why didn't you include your name in the video file? (Now it is more difficult to find your - quite good - recordings...)

  • Dieses Stück ist sehr schwer wohl zu spielen, aber du gut gemacht hast!Respekt!Technik,Klang alles war in Ordnung!Gratulation.

  • I love this song, our band played this a couple years ago and I miss it. Beautifully played sir!

  • i think u could work on your double tonguing a little to make it more clear and separated, but overall, great performance!! :D

  • I'm sorry but I think you have a few intonation problems your tuning note was flat and your starting D was really flat. Not to be mean, cuz I know you don't want to be pro, but you should do the opening line as long tones with a tuner. It's really annoying but it really helps(it helped me anyway, lol)

  • Good work! :D

  • What country? It's good you continue to play and perform even though you don't want to be a professional flutist. Do it for you! You are very talented and others enjoy listening. So what will your profession be?
