I first discovered this song thanks to the lovely {short} cover by Karen Matheson, from her debut album "The Dreaming Sea".

Thanks silverwolfwomen.This track is stunning from(in my humble opinion) one of the greatest albums ever produced.Sandy Denny's voice is ethereal,the lyrics are poetry in motion,and the musical composition is the embodiment of that folk/rock era that emerged back in the 70's.If you could make humanity as beautiful as this song I think we would see the end to all wars.

An acquaintance gave me a mixed FP Cd in 2000 for some reason it got caught in the shuffle..I think maybe I head the wrong music them caws I thought they were more like a jazz pop group..yesterday..this Music found me..I am in awe & infinitely grateful, having so much fun exploring as much as I can get my paws on..Thank you for posting this video..it was just the right Medicine for my Heart & Soul..doing the resonant Soul work & singing to move past the pain ...Music is Life Life is Music XOX

@beluwiel I actually heard Karen's cover first, but I like both equally - Karen's for its simplicity, Sandy's original for its depth :)
