  • LOLL...REDS will never come. They may have a chance if Bob Rae still remains the leader for next election. otherwise, BLUES are coming!!

  • @bgibb101 OMG get your gun! The REDS are coming!

  • @DrinkSkateSleep - History repeats itself. If you want Canada to be some military eunoch that will have to depend on the USA to protect it, then someone, someday will roll in and take everything away from us.

  • @bgibb101 That's such a primative view on things.

  • @DrinkSkateSleep - Nations that are defenceless end up being crushed underfoot by an aggressor. Remember, we are members of NATO and the UN, and as such we have military obligations all over the world. Unless you want us to be completely neutral and disband our armed forces? History has a nasty habit of repeating itself and sooner or later we will be in a much bigger war than Afghanistan.Better to have a strong military and not need it, than need it and not have it!

  • @bgibb101 Ya well I wouldn't vote Liberal either. And since when has canada ever had to defend itself? Once.. And it was to the united states.

  • @DrinkSkateSleep - Thankfully, our local doctors office is pretty good. We have a new hosptial in the south of the city (Calgary), so let's hope they can find the staff to fill it! If Canada is to remain an independent sovereign nation, we must be able to defend ourselves, and that includes updating equipment, including aircraft. Must we rely on the Americans to protect us? it was the Liberals who committed Canadian soldiers to Afghanistan, AND they put millions into the JSF-35 fighter project

  • @bgibb101 You're wrong my friend. I've gone to the doctor 5 times this past year, and each time was a pretty shitty experience. It needs to be improved. And yes, cut military spending. Harper just bought billions in fighter jets and we're in a war that isn't even ours. The whole thing is pointless. If the rich want to run the country then they should pay out of their own pockets as well.

  • @DrinkSkateSleep - Tax the rich? 96% of them generated their own wealth anyway and pay plenty of taxes already. Cut military spending? Sure if you believe that Canada should till be fyling around in creaking 25 year old CF-18 fighters ans an army that isn't even big enough to defend a single province, let alone the entire country. As for healthcare, there is plenty of money going in , but its the way that the system is managed that is the problem.

  • Most politicians are all talk anyway.
