Valentine's Day Surprise A Nemi Oneshot

The sun beamed through the white,flapping curtains as the gentle breeze came through the slightly opened window.I opened my eyes and looked beside me.Nothing.I sighed and got out of bed,walking over to my calender.I grabbed the sharpie that was hanging on the edge of the page and crossed out the box that had a red heart drawn on it.

After taking a quick hot shower I put on a white tank top with a red,long sleeved,cardigan ontop with navy blue jeans.I blow dried my hair and walked downstairs to make a cup of coffee.I sat down at the dining table with it and sat in my usual spot.I sat there and stared at the spot he would be located at.But nothing was there.I sighed for the second time this morning and rested my chin on my palm.

"Hello?"I heard the door open and close.Heels clicked on the wooden floor as my sister Vanessa made her way over to me."Happy Valentine's Day Dems!"She exclaimed,placing a box of chocolates infront of me.

"What's so happy about it?"I took another sip of my coffee.I looked up at my sister and saw that she was frowning.

She sighed.She pulled out a chair and sat down next to me."Look,I know that you're upset that Nick is on a business trip,but that doesn't mean that you have to spend Valentine's Day alone."

I narrowed my eyes ate her in confusion."What are you talking about?"

A smile appeared on her lips."Come on in guys!"She yelled out.Suddenly the door opened and atleast a dozen familiar faces shuffled in,all wearing red or pink.

I put on a fake smile."Hey guys."I waved at the people and stood up,going to greet them.I hugged everyone and began to talk to a few people.After long hours of talking and 'partying' everyone left,leaving me alone again.I decided to go out and get some fresh air.I went to the beach and sat down on the sand with my legs clutched close to my chest.The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks always soothed me somehow.I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply,letting it out soon after.I took out my phone from my pocket and looked through some of the pictures that Nick sent me while he was on his business trip.One of them was him shaking hands with the president when he was in Washington.One of them was him infront of the statue of liberty when he was in New York.I smiled and continued looking at others.After a while and closed my phone and just stared out at the ocean.

After a while my phone buzzed in my lap.I opened it up.It said that someone had sent me a picture.I accepted it and saw that it was from Nick.It was a picture of...me.Sitting on the beach staring out at the ocean like I was just doing.I turned around and saw a tall,muscular figure standing there with a smile while holding a boquet of roses.My jaw dropped and I jumped up on my feet."Nick!"I ran towards him and leaped into his arms,wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

He chuckled and caught me and kissed my cheek.

I smiled wide and pulled away just enough so that I could see his face.I leaned in and kissed him passionately,making up for the time I couldn't.I pulled away and rested my forehead against his.

He set me down and looked deeply in my eyes."Dems,we've been going out for 3 years now.I've wanted to do something for the longest time but I've just been waiting for the right moment.This moment is the perfect time to do it."He took my hands in his."I love you Demi,so much."

I smiled up at him."I love you too Nicky.You know that."I removed one of my hands from his and caressed his cheek with it.

He smiled."I know.So....Demi...."He got down on one knee,making my lips part in shock.My hand met with my lips as tears of joy glazed my eyes.He dug through his pocket and pulled out a red velvet box."Will you make me the happiest man alive,and do me the honour of being my wife?Demetria Devonne Lovato,will you marry me?"He opened the little box to reveal a heart shaped diamond ring.

I sniffed as tears rolled down my cheeks.I couldn't speak through my tears so I nodded my head violently.

He chuckled and slipped the ring onto my finger and stood up,cupping my cheeks and kissed me like he never has before."Happy Valentine's Day Mrs.Jonas."

I giggled."Happy Valentine's Day."I choked through my tears.I leaned up on my tippy-toes and kissed him.

Okay,I just wrote this quickly because I have to go to bed.Sorry if it sucks.
