Science Museum in the UK has put out a fantastic watch that talks, and sets itself. This can be accomplished not only in the U.S., but also in a few other countries. It should be noted that, like other WWVB controlled products, this watch can NOT communicate with the WWVB National Institute of Standards and Technology in Alaska or Hawii. At the end of the video I misspoke and said "voice zone" instead of Science Museum.

  • No watch can communicate with WWVB. They only *receive* signals from it.

  • LOL That's what I meant to say. Sorry.

  • Hey man where did you pick up that little toy?

  • I thought I responded, I apologize for the delay. It comes from LS&S, which sells technology for people who are blind or have low vision.

  • Wow, you're up very early/late, do you normally stay up that late? Does this watch have different alarm sounds? I bought my little brothers Super Mario Bros Wii as well, I quite like it, but I can't get past the second course on world 1, Liam's doing really well at it, yes the game is heard. I like that watch, I always leave the hour report on my talking clocks on all the time, I always have.

  • I usually am up this late, yes.

  • Hmmm Very interesting video. I had Never heard of a radio-controlled watch! Boy-Howdy do I have many q4u on this one! Be ye fore-warned! lol But not here. (u know what I mean). I have been wearing talking watches now for 14 years and counting. THe most Hi-tech one I'd ever owned though was a simple watch that could set 4 different alarms, and times based on where you were in the Us only. I though that was neet!! ...

  • i have one for sale now on ebay.co.uk.........

    awesome watch

  • Nice watch! I wish you the best of luck with the watch. I had the MaxiAids version, and it did NOT last long. It would update the time correctly, and it completely DIED after only three months. I tried a new battery, but no luck.

  • I also have a sight problem. I never saw this one. Thanks.

  • this is cool
