Not huge ... but decent-sized waves on the Minnesota shore of Lake Superior near Beaver Bay during a period of wind and rain.

  • dam them bitches are high enough to surf on

  • @2014TopProspect yeah is fresh water. its a beaufiul lake

  • I grew up in Duluth. I remember when I was young and a storm created waves coming off Lake Superior that were easily 25 feet high as they crashed into the light house at the end of the pier. They say that iron ore ships in early winter can be tossed about by swells as high as 30 feet or more. There is a phenomenon known as"Three Sisters" where 3 waves hit a ship in quick succession, but each 1/3 larger then the last. It's believed that may be what caused the SS Edmund Fitzgerald to sink.

  • weak waves and your getting slammed into the rocks, cant wait

  • surfs up?

  • would love to see that.

  • @CyrusNixes Oh, yes indeed!

  • shore break...unsurfable.

  • growing up by the beach in florida seeing waves come from a lake intrigues me

  • thumbs up if it looks like a bunch of mini tidal waves!
