WEBSITE: http://www.synergy-athletics.com STRENGTH MANUAL: http://www.BullStrength.com

Lunges in particular are great for athletes and people looking for that "real world strength." Life and sports usually include a high amount of unilateral movements.

The "mix up" lunge complex requires a huge amount of stabilization, leg strength, and leg endurance.
Mix Up Lunge Complex: 1. Overhead lunges x 5-8
2. Front bar lunges x 5-8
3. Zercher lunges x 5-8
4. Back bar lunges x 5-8

These should all be done in a row without putting the bar down. You may perform front, side, or reverse lunges.
Primary Muscles Used: * Quads * Glutes * Shoulders * Core * Upper back

Want a COMPLETE exercise program to plug the Mix Up Lunges into? Get on Bull Strength. http://www.bullstrength.com
