  • Who in the Hell is this woman that has the gaul to belt out the blues and sound SOOOOO much like Janis Joplin and I thought I would NEVER make that comparision

  • @leebusandlibus She wasn't known as Britain's answer to Janis Joplin for nothing. I always thought Maggie was better vocalist than Janis who sang a bit OTT at times, whereas Maggie was always more controlled.

  • First band I ever saw live (in Liverpool). Great seeing some footage of them again. Maggie Bell was such a great singer and I remember Jimmy's fine guitar playing that night.
