A banjo tune by Bolsover Gibbs, played by Carl Anderton and Joel Hooks at the gravesite of S. S. Stewart in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The cemetery is a little Quaker cemetary, and we have not been able to find out why the wealthy banjo manufacturer, who was not a Quaker, was buried there.

  • There's not a thing I don't love about this.

  • Great to hear banjo duets played as banjo duets - usually people make do as a solo act.

This looks good. The two of you hanging out on the bench there have a nice presence. Also the colorful outfits are cool.

The performance starts out a bit stiff but gets into a nice groove together after a little while.

  • I really enjoy the music you guys post. Classic banjo, Minstrel banjo, its some of the best music ever written. I wouldn't mind seeing this kind of banjo come back. Don't get me wrong, I like blue grass banjo. But theres is just something about gut stings on a banjo.

  • I guess he was buried there because he was dead.

  • guy in the indigo jacket actually looks like he was at a funeral

  • AWESOME song, It goes in my head when ever I die in a reenactment

  • Keep it coming, this is so great!

  • A great tune well played. Thanks!
