A New Chapter in Indo-US Relations: Undoing the Past?
By now it is safe to say that the heyday of the Indo-US relationship under the Bush administration is a thing of the past. As the economic recession hits home in the US, and strategic concerns keep it bogged down in the Af-Pak region, the relationship with India seems to have taken a backseat. What is the way forward in re-vitalizing this important relationship—or will this be possible only with a change in government?

Moderator: G Parthasarathy, Visiting Professor, Center for Policy Research

Panel:
• Sanjaya Baru, Editor, Business Standard
• Sugata Bose, Gardiner Professor of History and Director, South Asia Initiative, Harvard University
• Arundhati Ghose, Former Indian Ambassador to the United Nations
• Vijay Thadani, CEO, NIIT Ltd.
