I love this song. I love singing along with it and dancing like a fool. My Dad used to sing a few words to me every now and then and he'd lift one leg up slightly and do this twisty thing - that was supposed to be his dancing. My Dad died last June and I forgot that he knew this song. Can't see the screen for the tears! heheh

I have a Schwinn Stingray chopper, with a shower radio taped to the handlebars. I could only effectively get AM channels, and my favorite was an old big band station out of Seattle, I believe. I remember this one, and "Belleville", by Django Reinhardt.

I first heard this in 1970 when my uncle gave me an old HW album. I was 12 years old and have loved Hank ever since.

We used to play this at the Wiesbaden Rocker Club in the early fifties. I haven't heard this song in years.
