@Guitarman092004 Well Elvis would be pleased that you loved his singing and liked the song but if you watch the film Clambake Elvis did'nt care for doing t and it shows..he was bored out of his head and depressed but being a pro he went through with his contractual obligations

Elvis was physically sick and made every excuse to get of this film after reading the script..he resented that paramount and 20th century fox were using the profits from his films to finance classic films.for the studios

@paulietrev1 Okay, if he hated or not... this song has much truth in it if I understand it right. It's a title I was looking for nearly 28 years and has finished NOW. I still love this song. I don't know the full movie. So I can't judge bout that. But this song is nice.

I actually like Clambake's soundtrack and the movie, I think it's very underrated. This song isn't good at all compared to his best work but it fits in with the movie. I think some people that say this song sucks or whatever aren't viewing it right. This is a kid song and if you think of it compared to other kid songs, it's not too bad.
