Track from Tom Fogerty's second solo album, Excalibur (Fantasy Records, 1972), featuring Tom (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Jerry Garcia (guitar), Merl Saunders (keyboards), John Kahn (bass) and Bill Vitt (drums). I believe the guitar solo is by Garcia.

  • @doctordel He was the frontman in the Golliwogs.

  • Yeah, that is Jerry Garcia on there with the solo.

  • Sad he's gone I would have loved to hear a duet with him and John.

  • good music and talent any way you cut it

  • A Bill Monroe cover? Sweet.

  • You can see many songs CCR created within this one song. John may have taken credit for the words and music and CCR's success but, his style was very similar to what his brother Tom had been doing up until then. A great group non the less with music that will be around for a long time.

  • Great guitarist, great composer, great singer. Underestimated! Very sorry he died so young!
