427 Silverado Concept Starting and Revving Frankenmuth Auto Show Part 2

GM Performance had a booth at the Frankenmuth Auto Fest in September 2010 and as everyone was packing up to go home the guys with GM started to load the 427 Silverado in the hauler. You got to love that LS7 growl!!

still not better than a srt-10. I owned a 03' Lightning as well. This looks good but where are the numbers at? 1/4, 0-60????? Just cuz you drop a big motor in something doesn't mean shit.

@lmjames33 How do you know this isnt better? This is just a concept truck and there are no numbers for this truck because it is a concept.

@elmo1257 This is indeed GM's concept. It debuted at the 2006 SEMA Show and GM brought this along with several other of their concept cars to this auto show. Fastlane and other companies have derived their parts from this concept.

@lmjames33 Wow, someone sounds defensive and nsecure. If you knew anything about LS7's you'd know it's not a "big motor" it's still a small block chevy. With just a cam swap LS7's can punch out 600 hp easy. All it takes is the right gearing and traction to get that truck to go fast. Not very hard especially since i bet it weighs less than both the trucks you mentioned considering the SRT10 has a heavy V10 and the Lightning has a small block ford with an iron block and a supercharger.

i want one of this trucks so bad, does anyone know if the are going into production, if yes how much, i got 35k down for it, i know its going to be over 35k so yeah if any body knows about them please let me know, im sure 98% sure of all the views of this video want one as well

Chevy was going to bring this truck but they didnt becuz at that time when they were going to bring this truck, they were broke, so they brought the camaro rs v6 so they could sell it and start getting money
