Say Good-Bye To Those Dessert Dilemma Blues! "Berry" Delicious Dessert Hors'deuvres, In the "Pate" of "A Choux"! Food and music go hand in hand as the most important aspects of the Creole culture. New Orleans is the home of the jazz, blues and great desserts. And, we, Creoles, know a thing or two about desserts, carrying on a tradition of rich, gastronomical delights from our French ancestors. Most Creole desserts consist of some type of pastry made with a "choux", or buttery dough, and almost always a crème. Considering all of these things inspired me to create these "petite" dessert hors'deuvres, or "petit fours", using puff pastry shells, Blueberry Philadelphia cream cheese, Cool Whip and fresh blueberries kissed with vanilla.
