I remember playing Shenmue as a video game rental at a local hole-in-the-wall video store.
After them telling me I had ONE day to play this game, I saw that it was THREE discs.
I haven't had the opportunity to fully enjoy this game, but now thanks to emulation I can.

games now adays just cant match the caliber that shenmue shot though many people's hearts. but what sega doesn't get is games that have a good amount of work put into it are amazing games. and because sega thinks that no one will buy Shenmue 3 even if they put alot of money into it, that's where they are blind. so many people will buy Shenmue 3 if it comes out that Sega will be back in business again!

Fuck listening to this makes me wanna cry.. This is the first game i played that showed me that a video game is more then just gameplay. I was like 12 or 13, back when i had no internet and no money for magazines. Me and my bro saved up to go buy a game and we brought back Shenmue, greatest video game experience ever, i dont think i will ever have that feeling from a game again. I <3 Shenmue
