  • chuck norris can split logs with his hands

  • Something you may find interesting; the reason the ram stops 4 inches short from splitting logs is due to shipping costs. Most of these 4 ton electric log splitters are made overseas by the same manufacture, then shipped to different companies. Adding the additional 4 inches changes the dimensions of the shipping box adding extra cost; hence cutting into profits. Placing a 4x4 behind the log solves this problem. Hope this helps.

  • try spliting a piece of sesoned oak 2-3x the size of that maple

  • Nice to see a new video from you. Stock up on firewood, the snow can't be far off now!

  • A hatchet works well for the strands of wood. You many want to keep a short log with you to put behind the bigger log if the arm don't push it far enough.  I used to use a splitter a lot like that one.
