    On this day in 1977 {May 19th} the Universal Pictures movie "Smokey and the Bandit" had its world premier in New York City...

    Eight days later on May 27th it opened in theaters across the U.S.A. and Canada...

    The song "Easy Bound and Down" by co-star Jerry Reed was featured in the film; it peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart and also reached #2 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart...

    R.I.P. Mr. Reed {1937 - 2008} and co-star Jackie Gleason {1916 - 1987}...

    That sounds like my bro. He kisses everyone's rear ends when he is sober. But he is a mean, nasty drunk especially to his family and close friends. It is really lame. I don't wait until I am drunk to let out my anger. And if I got mean when I drank I would quit drinking.

    I knew Jerry back in the 80's. He drank more alcohol than any three people I've ever known, and he was a MEAN drunk. It's funny that so many people saw the other side of him, but I guess that's how it goes. He was a funny man at times.

    i think u missed my point....

    he will live on every1 memories.

    he will infact become more than he was in life...a legend.

    i personally believe it runs abit deeper than that.

    we are all connected by a giant quantum biological computer... here is where we reside in a dream world with no time or space.

    'holographic universe' idea..sort of
