Thanks for the reply. But if we use your reasoning. If a criminal commits a crime and is sentenced, but someone comes to the judge and says, hey, Ill take the punishment for his crimes, do you think the judge will accept that??? Is that justice??? To punish someone who didnt commit crimes?
I know what you believe but I just dont understand. Just conversation brother. And peace be unto you as well.

@calabiyauasaurus I read your comment about your interest of becoming a muslim. I think the easiest way is to google for websites which teache islam and another way is to visit a mosque near you, if you have one, and ask for books.
If you still can't get enough information, pls feel free to ask, will try to help you on my side.

I am interested in the Muslim religion but I don't know about it. I was raised ath\eist, I am kind of Christian but I don't feel it is giving me the fulfillment of God and his love. How do I learn more about it?

SIMPLE.

@VonMitch333 for someone who converts into Islam, his sins of the past are wiped out, some of the Prophet's greatest companions killed many Muslims and ridiculed Islam, but when they saw the light and converted the Prophet considered them brothers, with their past forgiven and forgotten, they stayed on a righteous path and didn't do stupid things after, so they will go to heaven. Read the history of a companion named Omar bin Khattab and you'll see.

@jooners89 That makes no sense. U don't see the judge(i.e God) state that he will take your place in punishment in the day of judgement b/c the Bible states everyone will be jugded and will be held accountable for their deeds, yet Jesus dies for ur sins? That's contradictory & the idea of 'free pass' is very dangerous in the gobal society:everyone can lie, murder, cheat, steal, commit hypocrisy & do the deeds of the devil as much as one likes then this earth will be in utter chaos & destruction!

i know this brother, from the mosque, we went camping and in the mosque mashallah brother
so lemme get this straight, with what he's sayin at around 5:00, people who convert to Islam, still may not get into 'paradise'. As you will be held "accountable" for everything. So tell me if someone kills 1000 people, goes to jail and converts to Islam he may not get to paradise because he will still be held accountable for those 1000 murders he committed, what then would balance that out and stop him from going to hellfire. If so, then what is the point in converting? ... just a question.

@VonMitch333 Every muslim will eventually enter paradise, God willing. What that means is that, one might be entered into hell first. May God almighty protect us from it.
