This is the second to last waterfall in lower Eaton Canyon in San Gabriel mountains, CA.

Most people would rappel down the 50-foot fall, but hey! The rock chute is so smooth & the pool is so deep that it's so inviting. So, I decided to jump, including a few others in the group! This video was taken by one of the guys who went ahead of me! It was a several seconds of free fall... and yes, the impact was hard!

Canyoneering in lower Eaton Canyon is a full day adventure with 4 more advanced rappels, about 6 simpler rappels--or jumps/slides, significant downclimbing, and lots of wading and swimming! It's a whole load of fun!
