  • @nivlekeliwacam I htink it is about the loneliness of touring especially after a show. when this song came out (and it is still somewhat true) the arenas would be filled with smoke..either form the audience, or the fog machines that were super popular in the 80s, so being around the venue after the smoke is dissipating and the crowd has left would be a sad time. many rock stars say trying to go to bed alone after a show is a very lonely time.
