Unboxing Sony Vaio NW Series (HD)

Just came back from Best Buy and got a great deal on a Sony Vaio NW.

This notebook isn't for me but for my step dad who's factory burned down as seen in other previous videos so we need a computer to type the invoice etc.

This was a great deal since originally it cost $779 U.S. dollars but they were having a sale for $649 U.S. which was great. This isn't for gaming or anything, just basic excel and word processing for business.

320 GB Hard Drive @ 5400rpm
15.5" @ 1366 x 768
Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD
4GB DDR2 @ 800mhz
Windows 7 Home Premium

So far I'm really impressed by the Vaio. I've always liked Sony's designs on their Vaio notebooks and I gotta say, their sleek and simple designs could match of Apple's. The only thing that disappointed me was the material used to assemble the case. At first it looked like brushed Aluminum, but once touched, it felt like a plastic-like material but overall, the notebook is great. It's fast even though the specs may seem low.

I got this laptop with blu-ray as a black friday sale 2 years ago for $420 and I loved it. It runs games surprisingly well for it's hardware, and has never failed me since. Sadly, I left it on the ground to take out the trash and then my brother stood on both ends of it when walking by. Sometimes the screen goes black, and sometimes it comes back on, but it's durability is a plus. I'd still recommend it now :)

i love this unit. I got mine last Christmas and it runs very smooth. It runs The Sims 3 and Avatar and no lag.
