We were very excited to see your video on light, sleep and melatonin along with your mention of LowBlueLights. As a company, we are committed to getting the word out to the masses and appreciate how you've helped in doing just that. Your video was extremely well done and informative. What is your interest in the field? We would certainly like to discuss this further. Congratulations on your fine work.

interesting video.. for clarification, are you advocating the use of blue lights as a tool to 'wakefulness' (or whathaveyou), or are you saying that the suppression of melatonin that occurs is negative? or are you just stating that it occurs, and is not a negative effect

@uptownjesus9 I detail many of the negative consequences of melatonin suppression via blue light exposure in the video. Blue light does indeed promote wakefulness, and may be useful as means by which to reset circadian clocks and improve physiological and psychological well-being during the day time. However, continued exposure towards the end of the circadian cycle disrupts natural melatonin production which may have a cascade of harmful consequences in the body.

@uptownjesus9 ...to be clear, I am not advocating anything per se; any decisions about your health should be made in consultation with a health care professional. However, in a nutshell- blue light during the day = good, blue light during the evening = bad.
