  • @edx881122 We have the Typhoon which I suspect is UK design though built through the EU. The real thing is British pilots flying UK planes do real good don't they? UK pilots do great because we believe in training and not shooting our allies? Love RAF and all their families, respect and love to you all you RAF guys!

  • @Weedylincs Sex on wing says it for me! Lovely big plane, love them!

  • beutiful plane and a wonderful howl

  • It's great isn't it? Living in Lincoln, we got used to the loud noises, but like all things when they're not about, you miss them more. Look out for another year of Air Shows in the UK this summer. 558 will hopefully do most of them. Funding has beenestablished for another year.

Oooh she still gives me goose bumps!

  • I have seen super close up long loud flying displays by the B1B Lancer and the Concorde once at CNE Air Show when they used to allow Aircraft to be closer to the crowds. And I have seen the Vulcan flying demos in Canada at Air Shows from 1968 to 1983 but the best one I ever saw was in July 1977. The display lasted like 15-20 minutes and the take off sound shattering

  • From behind it looks like one of those old German flying wings.

  • i would have loved to have seen it display properly but i wasen't born then and then it went out of service but shes back now so i'm happy and glad i got to see her on her first display in 16 years

  • the brit aircraft designers went thru a phase where they seemed to be able to do that magical alchemy where form and function combined.

now? gone. so sad it makes me regret.

an age lost. Imagine a healthy brit design bureau these days, with 60 odd years of solid experience.

    opportunity lost.
