My Dad's favorite Jim Reeves song! Dad's birthday was December 25, so Christmas is especially sentimental for me. Dad's gone, but listening to this makes me feel closer to him and reminds me how grateful I am for having had him for 50 years. So thank you for posting this, Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday, Dad.

This song takes me back to my childhood days when my uncles would visit us for Christmas and one of them would cry like a baby whenever Jim Reeves is being played. Poor uncle Edgar. God rest his soul. He made me into a Jim Reeves fan - and this is my ultimate Xmas song! Love it!

Hi, Joan - found my way here too. Jim Reeves is a timeless wonder, isn't he! He has just such a pure, velvety voice. One can only imagine how many more Reeves classics there'd be today if he hadn't been taken long before his time, in that tragic plane crash.

Hi, Joan. You know what a Reeves fan I am and this has always been a winter/Christmas favorite. Love the video and snowflakes would be much preferable to the ice we have here now.
