  • MIKE GRAVEL. and start campaigning for him NOW int he street everyday. 300,000,000 of us are powerless to 10,000 bilioniares? yea right. they cant stop us at all. its all a facade. get out there and fight for change! MIKE GRAVEL

  • I'm a Republican who voted for the Dems in 2006 and now I regret it. They were to pull us out of Iraq and stop the criminal activity in the White House. The Dems turned around and surged the invasion/occupation and passed Bush's wire tapping into law. Ron Paul or Mike Gravel

  • I was a caucus leader in Iowa for Howard Dean. After the close, about 200 of us went to a bar and watched the infamous scream but because we were all screaming along with him we didn't hear him above everyone else. When I got home that night I saw the footage of the scream where the networks subdued the background noise so he sounded maniacal. I believe the Republicans stole the last two elections, but I think it was the DLC who sabotaged Dean -- Kerry was their boy.

  • The Republicans did NOT want Bush to face Howard Dean in the '04 election. He would have been destroyed by Dean. That's why the media sensationalized and exaggerated the scream incident (by cutting out the crowd noise audio) ad nauseam: to destroy Dean before he could destroy Bush. They also didn't like his talk of changing the rules of big media.

  • A comment on Howard Dean's "49 state strategy". I say "49 state" because I live in Texas, and I have yet to see any serious push by the DNC to try and take back this very winnable state. In 2004, Republican turnout was just 34%, but Kerry still lost because Democrat turnout was even lower at 26% statewide.

  • i never got the chance to vote for HD. I eally wanted to. A fabulous candidate, and would love to see him pick it up and run again.

  • Howard why are the democrats perpetuating the NAU? I've voted democrat all my life and for the first time I'm questioning my devotion.
