Shrewsbury Lasses / Warnock Quartet

Here is a version of The Shrewsbury Lasses as asked for by ramron333. Also known by P&P fanatics as "The other way Mr Collins". This tune can be found in "The Barnes book of English Country Dance Tunes"

We are The Warnock Quartet (at least twice a year). More of this at Thanksgiving !

Isn't You tube wonderful, this tune was used to introduce a gardening programe on tv in England some years ago, the gardener, (the late) Mr Percy Thrower lived in Shrewsbury, 14 miles from where i live, I also play this on the tin whistle. have been listening out for someone else playing it for years without success and then find you here,
