Ross Kemp is the most scary Scrooge I have seen and I have seen them all. What a great version of this wonderful tale.

Definitely one of the best modern versions - and I have watched over 30 versions. There was something awesome added by incorporating a "Groundhog Day" element. It made it that much more believable.
The British actors and the setting add even more to it. Ross Kemp is the perfect urban Scrooge. Thank you for posting. This is my third year watching and I have watched it twice this year.

This is the very best modern adaptation of Dickens' timeless novel, because it is BRITISH!!! Hollywood has only ever managed to ruin any of their adaptations. A truly great performance from truly great British actors. Further, the scenarios portrayed are happening on our own doorsteps. So, come Christmas 2010, if you're reading my note, do yourself justice, watch this vid again, then look in your mirror, and think, Merry Christmas - to somebody near you.
