This slideshow covers the creation and construction of the Peoria Dog Park in Peoria, Illinois from the time the fundraising goal was exceeded until the Grand Opening celebration which was held on June 13, 2009. The main method of fundraising was the sale of engraved donor bricks which have been installed in a donor brick patio outside the entrance gate at the lower level of the dog park.

Very soon after installation a storm did damage a couple of areas of fence. The damage was quickly repaired. I have very limited computer abilities and did my best to put this video together. I had no way to add narration or interviews. The music entitled "One Brick at a Time" is not irrelevant to those of us who donated to raise enough to get the dog park built. Our major means of fundraising was the sale of engraved bricks so this song means something to us. It is our dog park's theme song!

Was this dog park heavily damaged in a storm of some sort ?
This video would have been more interesting if the audio was narrated with
relevent information and possibly comments from patrons and organizers instead of 4 minutes of irrelevent music. And 2 of the YouTube tags should be: IL & Grand Opening
