Holly Hunter is BOSS in that film! Never once spoke but damn her acting was fantabulouse. A well deserved Oscar win, no doubt.

@Gnosis4all oh, but of course! Actually, i think Kietel is an an obscenely underrated actor deserving of much more recognition.
-
@thefidlerontheroof Well deserved indeed - but Harvey Keitel was AMAZING, they were both magical
-
terrible the scene from the pianist!
-
@ideasfilm Raging Driver and Taxi Bull :D
-
@Edhunter665 It's "The Piano"
-
Ordinary People is a magical masterpiece. One quietly powerful scene after another. I liked it A LOT more than Raging Bull, for one reason because Robert DeNiro's character was such a piece of shit.
I know, I know, that's the point, but still...... I'd have no problem calling Ordinary People perhaps the greatest film of all time.

What's the name of the second movie, the one where Sam Neill swings an axe wildly?
-
Does anybody know the movie with Sam Neil in it? It looks great.
-
I dont like the piano in general.
But Holly Hunter is just amazing.

Requiem, man, what a messed up movie.
I never agreed with that oscars because Taxi Driver was also in that catagory and everybody seems to remember that movie more
