Because no state has the death penalty besides texas now, that's why the rapists aren't killed. And abortion may have "effects" but if a woman chooses it, one can only reasonably assume she feels it's for her good and benefit.
Abortion isn't "killing" because early stage abortions take place before a baby has any feeling or consciousness or capacity to be aware. They can't even breathe for themselves in early stage abortions (before 3 months)
So there is no problem with it.

Rape is terrible, I know. I have endured it. Incest is terrible too. Another thing I have endured, but the thing I considered is that the child couldn't choose its parents. It's not the baby's fault his sperm donor was a (insert expletive here). If you want to kill anyone in that kind of situation, why not kill who was really at fault, the RAPIST! People don't talk about the effects of abortion. Why should a woman have to endure twice as much pain??

Not necessarily choice. Maybe a woman became pregnant via rape, should she be forced to carry a child then? I think not.

No one can force anyone to do anything! Abortion is a choice just like the action that brought the baby into existence was a CHOICE. And you can think whatever you want about God. You will see @ judgement. Hopefully truth intervenes for you before then. To each his own.

God doesn't exist, so no don't thank him. Abortion is good because women should have ultimate control over their bodies, and if for whatever reason they don't want to bring a baby into the world they shouldn't be forced to when we have the technology to stop it.

abortion is cruel and most of the foetus are removed after 3 months old due to waiting lists and delays. but then the unborn are defenceless and did not ask to be conceived and it is too easily available. prevention is a better idea. why are people so careless with pregnancies? especially in these days of aids and disease. more precaution and education needs to be taught.

I've already explained that abortion isn't murder cos babies don't resemble the shape of a human, cannot breathe or eat or even feel on their own until 3 months, there is no such thing as a soul until i see evidence of one, so until then abortion is safe, and in my country and america abortion will always be allowed ^^

No, it wasn't. What it was was a perfect representation of the GOP fearmongering surrounding Obama. I have no fear that Obama will speak in plainer language in the debates so thick headed Americans (such as yourself?)will know exactly where he stands on this issue.
The GOP plank wants to outlaw abortion, NO EXCEPTIONS including those for rape, incest or the life of the mother. That's an idiotic stance to take, and women will not stand for it. The GOP making this an issue is a gift to Obama.

That was a total misrepresentation of Obama's position. He said that it was above his pay grade to say at what point a fertilized egg should be considered a person. But I can't really blame the GOP exploiting this. Obama was exceptionally mealy mouthed (nuanced) with his answer, opening the door for this very sort of attack. He better have better answers to the abortion questions once the debates start. As the GOP convention & Palin's nomination have proven, a woman's choice is threatened.
