Microwaving a Video Disc

The first ever microwaving video of a video disc titled "The Longest Day". The video disc measures 16" across. This is the original laser disc made by RCA. Do not let later smaller versions fool you. After microwaving one I found the material to be something between a compact disc and a record warping instead of sparking like a normal CD.

@mouse2494 Its not a record, thats what CED disks actually look like. They have a needle that goes into the grooves to play it like a record for the audio, and at the same time, it picks up the difference in capacitence to determine what the image should look like.

OK, a video disc (ced) is like a vinyl record and is played witha needle like a record player. A laser disc is like a giant DVD that is played using a laser beam like a dvd player.
