@4GodnCountry there are quite a few people who have posted on this and a few other songs including me who talk about hearing it at boot camp and about how powerful it is when ur at the lowest point u could ever be at.

@op2op - I just grad MCRD Paris Island (20110225) and like you said very vividly remember this song. Especially the first time we heard it that first Sunday. Very powerful and emotional. I love it and will never forget it.

i was on Parris Island when i first heard this song i remember it vividly.. i cried it was the most soothing song ive ever heard it truly touched my heart and brung me closer to christ. unfortunatly I got sent home from Parris island (medical discharge) but this song has stuck with me thanks for posting it
