Mine won't blend like that. It's like its hard and very dry when try to blend it with my finger.
Where is she from? She doesn't sound English, American or Australian?

Excellent! I've always been a fan of oil pastels. I was introduced to them many years before the regular chalk pastels, actually. :) I love your eraser technique!
