  • @ukretrogameaddict Hey, last year I bought a CD-i 210, it turns on, disc spins etc.

But my only problem is that it never shows on the screen.

Does it need tuning in or something? I'm stumped.

  • @ukretrogameaddict Are you also into LCD stuff? I've got a some unboxed one's from my childhood that are worth ok money, like BMX Flyer, Afterburner, Demon Driver, Cosmic 2000 etc

  • @ukretrogameaddict Yeh, I'm in London so not sure where they are around here lol but I'll look.

I love retro stuff but I'm not really a collector, more into the buying dealing and selling side!

    Like antique dealers.

  • @ojideagu if you can get to one i'd try some car boot sale action - the seasons just about to get going and you can score some crazy ass price bargains there - it's the number one place for cheap stuff but don't expect to find any rare bits it's just mame stream.

  • @ukretrogameaddict Ha you're very lucky, that's amazing, how on earth did those get thrown away? There is a guy on ebay with a video here he found 6 megadrives and 3 gamegears thrown away by an old toy wharehouse!! Unopened. Even bloody Cash converters seems to know retro stuff has some value. Hell even charity shops do i think now! Almost Every Buyitnow on Ebay is overpriced or called rare.

  • @ojideagu they sure are but it's hard work to get a good bargain these days - i only get one or two, i did get a massive haul the other month check out my massive pick up video and one other video when i found a xbox 360 and a famicom micro in a bin if you've not seen them yet have a look, some awesome scores!

  • @ukretrogameaddict wow!!! Yeh man, I use a site that can check all auctions ending with no bids at odd times,

it's amazing what things I've seen end low or no bids sometimes. It's not easy but they are the best bargain times. I'm looking to emulate that score with retro stuff! nothing yet. Most have massive buy it nows. Auctions are def the way to go for bargains

  • @ojideagu no it was on ebay!!!!!! got a early monday morning auction result - i actually sold it last month, as i didn't play it much and to help build my games room for £240 so a nice little return there!
