sublime and genial...a timeless beauty for all the ages and of/for civilization. And to think he did this as a praise performance..I am still in awe when I listen to this and especially if done maestroso as Mr. Koopman achieved. Thanks for posting!!

No, Bach is not a God, BUT you feel God when you listen to Bach as Bach was writing to worship God, hence his comment at the top of every score; Solo Dei Gloria! Or, only to God be the glory. To play this music is to worship the Creator.
