See the change in James Hetfields's voice over the albums.

Update: To avoid any more controversy about whether it is Master of Puppets or Battery, the song name is Battery. It was a poor mistake on my part.

Check out the updated version! It's a hell of a lot better than this one!

  • Age will make anyone's vocal chords get thicker. That's why women with deeper voices "sound" older. James has managed to deal with his voice deepening pretty well and I love the progression of his voice. Metallica dominates all.

  • James' vocals were best during 1988 - 1989 live performances :)

  • @MpchermidafilhoA I don't care :)

  • @KreepYo lol i think that my list is kinda misleading.

I'm not rating the albums musically, I'm rating the album with his vocals

  • @MpchermidafilhoA 1. Justice 2. Puppets 3. Kill 'Em All 4. Death Magnetic 5. Black Album 6. Ride the Lightning 7. Load 8. St. Anger 9. ReLoad 204920402: Lulu
  • Its cool that his voice fits perfect with that certain song his high voice fit perfect with the kill em all songs and and his lower voice fits perfect with the songs they made later

  • 1. Justice

    2. Black Album

    3. Load

    4. St. Anger

    5. Death Magnetic

    6. Reload

    7. Ride The Lightning

    8. Master Of Puppets

    9. Kill 'Em All

  • Am I the only one that thinks that St. Anger voice is badass??

  • @jrusso1202 Tom Araya, Chuck Bill they all have been the same. You are just a fan boy

  • @austin2460 I find them quite enjoyable still.
