Skills Utilisation in the Workplace

The Skills Utilisation Project is a joint venture between Scottish Union Learning, the STUC and the Scottish Centre for Employment Research at the University of Strathclyde Business School. The objective of the project is to examine the potential role of trade unions in contributing to better skills utilisation in workplaces in Scotland by examining case studies of skills utilisation in practice.

This video complements other resources on skills utilisation developed by Scottish Union Learning. Special thanks are due to the unions that participated in the film: Community with RSBi Blindcraft, Unite and ASLEF with First ScotRail, and the RMT with NorthLink Ferries.
